Katheryn Henry is a REALTOR® with more than 35 of experience specializing in the Foothill Communities. She has served as President of the Pasadena Foothills Association of Realtors, received “Realtor of the Year” award and has served on the Board of Directors. She has also served as a California Association of Realtors (CAR) - State Director for nearly a decade.

Katheryn is the Relocation Director at BHHS Golden Properties, holding a Certified Relocation Professional (CRP) designation for 18 years, is rCertified and gCertified.  A very small percentage of Relocation Directors in the US hold a CRP designation.  She started her career in real estate with the goal to help others achieve the American Dream, and today she encourages advocacy with homeowners, buyers, sellers, and within the REALTOR® community.

Ethics are at the forefront of her Real Estate business. “If we don’t preserve private property rights, buyers are not going to have an incentive to buy and sellers will not have an incentive to sell,” she says. Katheryn wants home owners to keep their benefits when they buy a home. She says lawmakers should not be able to take advantage or make money on homeowners. She takes part in debates and conversations to protect homeownership, saying “Why should  sellers be penalized.” Insurance, tax deductions, rent control, point of sale taxes are among a list of issues she sits in on debates for and encourages others to reach out to their local lawmakers and advocate on behalf of homeownership.  She keeps friends, agents and others in the office informed. She’s been a CAR Director since 2010 and has served on the following committees: Home Ownership Housing, Professional Development & Education as well as Realtor Risk Management.  Katheryn served on the boards of the Altadena Junior Circle, Central Altadena Little League, Parent Teacher Organizations and has spent several years as an Assistant Boy Scout Leader with St. Elizabeth’s church.

Katheryn enjoys traveling to Louisiana to visit her son, daughter in love and grandchildren. Being a huge Dodger fan, you can see her sporting her Dodger blue around the office. She also enjoys music and travel.
